Sometimes you just look at something you’ve made and take a step back to wonder, “Did I make this?”
I started Saint-14 a few months back but he remained in a legless state due to… well, we’ll call it motivational issues. But it seemed like the right incentive to begin streaming again. Overall, I think he came out better than I expected.
Standing upon husks of defeated Vex, I think the only thing I didn’t add were the Pigeons. I wanted to, but the detail was just too much for 4mm grey pipecleaners. Plus, I had a hard enough time with the Cyclops eye.
I wanted to give him a stoic look. Something that just screamed who Saint-14 really is. The Vex destroying character he is really needed to have a statement. If I could have made more Vex bodies, I would have. But I spent too long on the Infinite Forest base to scatter more limbs and bodies on it without ruining its motif.
I’m very proud of this one. Big thanks to all the artists in the Destiny Community for helping me with him, especially my buddy, irrezolut.
