A project born from the Ouija board; bringing together designs from various cultures and ideals into one kick-ass jacket.

The entire back was modeled off of the standard Ouija board, utilizing a planchette, located on the upper breast of the right side. The entirety of the back section was hand drawn and stitched.

Attempting to mimic the constellations, the collar is an array of studs being linked by various threads. The overall idea of was to keep “the weight of the universe upon your shoulders.” A similar concept was applied to the cuffs, minus the constellations.

Both arms are joined by matching hand sewn patches of “La Lune” and “La Sol”. Two heavily utilized symbols within the occult. This helped keep the universal symbolism to the upper section of the body. The patches were an absolute blast to create.

Lastly, the major thing is the lower panel on the right side. Taken from a collage of several different occult items, it brings the entire jacket together in a way that shows its true origin. Adorned by runes, snakes, bones, and given the light of candles, this is the piece that solidifies the jacket.

In the end, this jacket remains one of my favorite projects. Right now its current owner and whereabouts are unknown.
