Yet another from my “Original character” series has made the website. This one has been in my character vault for quite some time.
Ramiel is a constant figure within my storyline. Originating as a hero figure, he helps the main character (Mark) through adventures past the first 3 main tails. Sadly, after the pivotal battle with the main antagonist, Ramiel has a fall from grace. Stealing the “Voidripper Scythe”, a weapon utilized by the main antagonist, Ramiel’s arm begins to distort and morph into a malformed claw. Fearing someone may find the scythe, Ramiel then hides beneath a space station and begins formulating an alliance with the homeless and the poor. This giving him the title: “King of Rats”.
Made in early 2018, Ramiel was actually the 3rd physical reference character I created for him, with this being the “final stage” of his character progression. I would like to think more of this figure is based around his scrap throne, more than the figure. Even as a character, I wanted Ramiel to have more of a vain persona about him and his look. With this being what I inevitably wanted him to become, I represented that by putting much more detail into the base then I did his figure.
His throne, which is a mixture of all sorts of scrap pieces from “recycled” figures, was just another step in the evolution I find myself in with creating more and more detail.
